Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong said a 64-year-old Maryville man is charged with domestic aggravated assault today after shooting his son in the chest during an argument.
The victim, 44-year-old Christopher Kirkland, N. Sixth Street, Maryville, is listed in serious condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
