Maryville, Tennessee – Deputies are currently working several crashes this morning around Blount County due to hazardous road conditions, especially but not limited to the north end of the county. Deputies and officers are working accidents due to icing on the roadway on Brown School Road, Singleton Station Road, East Lamar Alexander Parkway near Walland and Townsend, East Broadway Avenue, Hitch Road, and Tuckaleechee Pike at Grandview.

If you must travel, please use caution this morning. The above list of hazardous road conditions is not exhaustive, and you could encounter icing on all roadways throughout the county.

Please continue to monitor the weather. It looks like below normal temperatures will remain for the next couple of weeks, and we could experience more inclement weather Friday evening into Saturday morning. We will do our best to keep you up to date on road conditions.
