Traffic advisory: Roadway changes and ongoing utility work

Please be advised of the following traffic updates in Blount County:

1. New 3-Way Stop at Nails Creek Rd & N. Wildwood Rd
   Beginning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the intersection of Nails Creek Road and North Wildwood Road will be converted to a 3-way stop.
   Advance signage has been posted to alert drivers. Motorists are encouraged to approach with caution and observe the new traffic pattern.
2. Utility Work on Sevierville Rd Near Hinkle Rd
   Merkal Construction has begun utility work at the intersection of Sevierville Road and Hinkle Road.
   This project is expected to last several months as work continues north along Sevierville Road to Chapman Highway.
   Drivers should expect construction activity and potential delays in the area. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
