The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is a nationally accredited law enforcement agency through CALEA. Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Maryville, Tennessee, the BCSO is a full service law enforcement agency with approximately 350 professional employees.

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is seeking energized, proactive individuals willing to serve the county to the best of their ability. Receive uniforms, equipment, Patrol or Transport vehicles, and additional training. Upon completing the six-month probationary period, deputies are eligible to advance to specialized units in their respective operations. They include, but are not limited to, SWAT, Marine Patrol, Horse Mounted Patrol, Water/Technical Rescue Team, K-9, Investigations, Crime Scene, School Resource Officer, and many more. All applicants must be willing to live within a 30-mile radius of the Blount County Justice Center to qualify for a take-home vehicle, if applicable.

Military and college graduate preference.
